About

Edison Rex is the smartest man in the world, a criminal genius, and the arch nemesis of the world's greatest protector, Valiant. Having dedicated his life to defeating Valiant and proving once and for all that he is a menace to humanity and not a hero, what will Edison do once he finally succeeds? And with Valiant out of the way, who will be left to protect the Earth?

EDISON REX was launched as a digital-first series through Monkeybrain Comics on ComiXology in July 2012. Assisted by Stephen Downer on colors, John J. Hill on letters, and Dylan Todd on design, we have so far produced 18 issues of the series, which chronicles the adventures of the world’s greatest villain who, after defeating his superheroic nemesis, decides that he’s the only one left to defend the world.

Now, four years after launching the series, we’re relaunching it as a free webcomic, serializing the material that’s already been released at a rate of two pages per week.
